San Diego Mobile Moments – Think Outside the Booth!
We had an event for the 2000 IDEA World Convention at JW Marriott in Downtown Los Angeles. The drive was terrible as usual from San Diego to LA, but once we got there, I was surprised at how much Downtown LA has vastly improved since my years at UCLA in the mid 90’s. The JW Marriott is next to the LA Convention Center and the Staples Center and inside was unlike any Marriott I have ever seen. It was spacious and had the feel and décor of a hotel casino in Las Vegas. Our event was held in the 4th floor which required a journey via 3 escalators, overlooking outside…what a beautiful sight! The ballroom was no less impressive with multiple large screens all around the room. This was cool since we were able to feed our slideshow to a large screen right above our green screen setup.
