1. What kind of photography services do you provide?
San Diego Mobile Moments does not use traditional photo booths. We believe in using technology available to us to provide more fun and better quality, customized photos. Our setup includes a mobile photo studio equipped with professional camera and studio lighting. In short, you won’t be enclosed in a box and be using a small flash from the camera.
Because you are OUTSIDE THE BOOTH, your photos will not be nearly as limited by our setup. You can fit more people in your photos, creating memorable moments without having to choose which friend will be left out. There will not be a heavy, bulky structure that can scratch the floor or take up a lot of space. Our professional photographer and photographer’s assistant will come and setup our mobile studio for free. When the event is finished we clean up as if we were never there.
2. What makes you different from regular photographers offering “photo booth” setup?
Most photographers will go to your event, setup their camera and lights, and put up a single colored cloth background. While the quality is good, their options are very limited. First of all, there’s only 1 background used for all the pictures. After taking the pictures, they usually do not print instantly and wait until the end of the event until guests can pick up the pictures. Some photographers don’t even print on site and will charge a ridiculous amount to do so. Some photographers only offer online viewing and ordering of prints. Lastly, the photos cannot be customized.
With San Diego Mobile Moments, we offer green screen mobile photo studio with professional studio setup and instant printing. Think of our setup as having the speed of the photo booth, the quality of a professional photographer, and the technology of a computer graphic artist. This is the reason why we are one of the very few photographers that can offer the options that we offer.
3. How does Green Screen Photography work?
You’ve seen it in TV and the movies. We setup a green screen studio and your guests can choose up to 6 different backgrounds via touch screen monitor to replace the green screen. Traditional photo booths cannot do this because of space and lighting requirements. You can find your own pictures or you can choose from our extensive collection of background pictures.
4. Can our photos look the same as in a traditional photo booth?
YES – It comes out in a 4×6 paper and depending on how you want the picture to look like, we can cut it down the middle to make it look like a traditional photo booth print. However, unlike traditional photo booths, you can customize how you want the pictures to look like. You can even put personalized messages or event logos if you like. San Diego Mobile Moments will work with you to make sure you are satisfied with the pictures that will be printed and given to your guests or placed in your scrapbook.
5. Will there be someone at the event to manage the booth, and answer questions or troubleshoot?
This one is an easy one—YES! San Diego Mobile Moments will provide, at no additional cost, a Professional Photographer and a photographer assistant to make sure that your experience is enjoyable. We take care of the booth, so you can take care of your guests! Rent it and Forget it!
6. My wedding and reception are in 2 different locations. Can you provide your services in both locations? Will there be additional fees?
YES, we can provide our services in more than 1 location for the same event on the same day. It’s $200 per additional venue that we have to setup and breakdown.
7. I am interested in your scrapbook services I just don’t want to spend all that time organizing the pictures when I have to entertain my guests. Will you provide a person to organize the scrapbook?
If you purchase the scrapbook option as part of a package or on its own, San Diego Mobile Moments will have someone at your event to manage the scrapbook process, ensuring that you have a beautiful scrapbook filled with memorable photos while you enjoy your party with your guests.
8. Can you provide your services outdoors?
YES. San Diego Mobile Moments is designed to provide memorable experiences virtually anywhere. However, in order for us to provide our services outdoors, we require that there is an available electrical power source for our equipment to plug into.
